Noel Ripley

Artist Details: Noel Ripley was born in 1944, near High Wycombe. His family moved to East Anglia during the 1950's and Noel worked initially as a design engineer.

He has always had a great love of painting and in the late 70s he studied fine art restoration with a particular interest in the Dutch and British Schools of the 18th and 19th Century.

He also trained for still life painting for which he applies his perfectionist style. He has painted professionally since 1982.

He has spent some time travelling in Europe which has inspired him to paint his recent colourful landscapes. His paintings are always very collectable and hang in collections at home and abroad.

Noel is a keen cyclist and cross country runner and lives with his wife in a picturesque East Anglian Village.
