Roy Posgate

Exhibiting with us for the first time, Roy captures the atmosphere of our coastal landscape in his preferred medium of watercolour.

Artist Details: After attending polytechnic to study art and design, Roy spent several years working in London advertising agencies on a variety of accounts. These included decorated buses and also an advertisement on the ceiling above the escalator at Marble Arch underground station in London.

Eventually he freelanced and now concentrates in the medium he enjoys best, watercolour painting. His greatest interest is coastal scenes, in particular boats, and also picturesque buildings, mainly in the Hampshire and West Counrty areas.

He regularly exhibits in galleries and with other artists in local exhibitions, mainly in the London area.
