John Mellows

Artist Details: John's almost abstract metal sculptures reflect perfectly his love of sailing and his skill as an engineer. Working mainly in polished stainless steel he combines the power and elegance of a sailboat in full flight into a true work of art. John's work is widely acclaimed and is frequently seen as prizes and trophies at many national and international sailing events including Cowes Week and the Volvo Ocean Race, as well as individual presentations to outstanding sailors such as Dame Ellen Macarthur.
