Wendy followed her interest in art having completed a degree in English, Art and Design at Plymouth University. Her career in art has now taken off and she is constantly asked to exhibit her work at various exhibitions throughout England. As a member of the Plymouth Society of Artists she has also been asked to produce commissions for hotels and cover designs for poetry anthologies. She now also enjoys tutoring in art and creative writing.

Having lived by the sea for most of her life, she delights in the subtle changes of the ocean with its moving tides and the effects of the weather, and this everlasting subject material acts as her main source of inspiration. She has experimented extensively with a host of media, but has found that the best medium for her is pastels because of the 'translucent qualities' allowing her to capture those serene tranquil moments. Her first collection of stunning published works has been received with a resounding response from galleries and public alike and we all look forward to the introduction of more, imaginative creations.
