Kay Maunder

Kay has chosed a new theme 'Musicians' for her latest paintings and continues her fascination with the costumes of the Geisha girls.

Artist details: Kay Maunder has been painting for about 45 years. Her favourite subject is figures, especially children at play and the female form. She is self taught and though she prefers pastel as a medium, she also enjoys acrylic and watercolour.

Kay has exhibited and sold at the Society of Women Artists in London, the Chelsea Art Society, the Yiewsley and West Drayton Art Centre, the Syon Park Art Centre Isleworth, the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery London and the New Century Gallery, Datchet. She was also a member of the Hesketh Hubbard life drawing class at the Mall Galleries in London.

She has lived in London for most of her life, but spent many years visiting Hampshire and Dorset with her family at every opportunity. Finally she moved to Hampshire and now lives in Hordle.
