Andrew Kurtis

We have completely new display from Andrew Kurtis with eleven new oils paintings.

Artist Details: Born in London, Andrew has always pursued his interest in art even whilst working in industry. He first studied graphic design leading to a Licentiateship to the Society of Industrial Artists and then to a Bachelor of Design degree with honours. He then progressed to a postguate Master of Art degree.

Andrew is now an established landscape artist working in oil to capture the changing moods of nature. He prepares his own pigments and mediums carefully by hand, maintaining the science and craft of oil painting traditions. He uses a palette of pure colours subtley combined to portray light-suffused, translucent landscape compositions.
