Paul Jenkins Sculpture
Paul was born in the West Midlands in 1949. He first started his career in art in the early 70s sculpting in wood and then found himself drawn to sculpting in clay and wax. He then went on to study ceramics at Dudley College of Art. Within five years Paul had a growing customer base that included galleries, private collectors as well as the general public. Paul then sold the business and then worked as a commercial designer for various companies around the world including the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Paul now concentrates on more exclusive art work which he sells to galleries around the country. He produces ceramic sculptures in stoneware and raku as well as cold cast bronze and foundry bronze pieces in limited and open editions. We mainly concentrate on his bronze work which is produced in a local foundry where Paul can maintain a strong interest. His pieces are lively and capture the essence of the animals he portrays. |
