Christopher Hope-King RMS HS

Christopher was born in Yorkshire in 1951 but moved to Dorset at the age of five where he still lives. The studio at his cottage overlooks beautiful countryside and the peace and quiet provides the atmosphere and inspiration for him to work on his paintings. Christopher is self taught but much early influence came from his artist grandfather and his own interest in the antiques and pictures of the 16th and 17th centuries. A prize winning member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers and also a member of the Hilliard Society Christopher exhibits regularly with both organisations. He has also held many one-man exhibitions and is also a frequent exhibitor at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition.
