Terry Donnelly

Terry was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and at the age of fifteen was selected to study art full time at Jesmond College of Art and Industrial Design in Newcastle.

After a short spell in London in the 1960's he returned to his native city where he worked as a freelance designer before deciding to become a full time artist. He continues to live and work in Newcastle with his wife and four children.

Terry's preferred medium is oils and he works with a large brush to produce the dramatic light effect which is so typical of his style.

Terry's paintings are to be found in collections worldwide and some of his work has been produced as limited edition prints.
