Jean Bronson

Jean paints the Forest and surrounding area in her own unique style following traditional lines. She clearly has an affinity for the countryside where she now lives.

Artist Details: Jean Bronson was born in 1935 in Fulham, London and was evacuated to Hertforshire at the start of the war where her love of the countryside was born. Although she enjoyed painting as a child she did not pursue her art interest untill her children were growing up and she had some free time. She attended evening classes and in a few years was exhibiting her work in local art shows. Her success gave her the confidence to approah a gallery in the west of London where her paintings sold so well she was offered a permanent display space. She now exhibits in several galleries in the London area.

Now living in Hampshire, Jean has found a rich source of subject matter in the beauty of the new Forest and surrounding areas. Her landscapes are painted in acrylic on canvas or canvas board.
